Pilates Equipment Classes


Pilates exercises are not only done on a Matt with balls and foam rollers, but can also be done on specific Pilates Equipment.

These Equipment pieces are made up of Reformers, Cadillacs (Trapeze Tables), Wunda Chairs, Ladder Barrels, Spine Correctors and more. Each one uses spring tension that can be adjusted to give less or more resistance or even support. Some equipment uses ropes on pully systems with hand and foot straps. Exercises can be done standing, lying down, kneeling, sideways, upside down, pushing, pulling, jumping, etc.

When using these Equipment pieces, it offers you all the same benefits of Pilates and more. It works strength, flexibility, balance, co-ordination, stamina, tone and alignment. Some Equipment even adds an element of Cardiovascular exercise, for example the Jump board on the Reformer.

Pilates Equipment classes can be booked for now on a one-on-one basis. From beginner, to the more experienced, whether you just want to build strength or if you need specific rehabilitation exercises. Programs are developed according to your specific needs or goals and are adjusted constantly to keep it challenging.
